When you purchase something from our store, as part of the buying and selling process, we collect the personal information you give us such as your name, address and email address.
When you browse our store, we also automatically receive your computer’s internet protocol (IP) address in order to provide us with information that helps us learn about your browser and operating system.
Email marketing (if applicable): With your permission, we may send you emails about our store, new products and other updates.

SECTION 4 - SHOPIFY
Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you.
Your data is stored through Shopify’s data storage, databases and the general Shopify application. They store your data on a secure server behind a firewall.
Payment:
If you choose a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase, then Shopify stores your credit card data. It is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is deleted.
All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.
PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.

SECTION 5 - THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
In general, the third-party providers used by us will only collect, use and disclose your information to the extent necessary to allow them to perform the services they provide to us.

_shopify_visit, no data held, Persistent for 30 minutes from the last visit, Used by our website provider’s internal stats tracker to record the number of visits
_shopify_uniq, no data held, expires midnight (relative to the visitor) of the next day, Counts the number of visits to a store by a single customer.
cart, unique token, persistent for 2 weeks, Stores information about the contents of your cart.
_secure_session_id, unique token, sessional
storefront_digest, unique token, indefinite If the shop has a password, this is used to determine if the current visitor has access.

EU Europian Privacy Policy Updates
Information We Collects from Online Store:
a) Shipping Detail - We collect information such as buyer's name, email address, addresses, payment information and transaction detail when buyer place order on our web site. We also collect additional information such as custom order detail upon request.
b) Newsletter - We collect information like your name and email address through a pop up form when you opt in and sign up our newsletter for additional product design updates, giveaway or a discount coupon. Please note that you can unsubscribe our newsletter at anytime or you can contact admin@handmado.com to ask us to remove your information manually.
How we use and share your information to 3rd parties
a) Handmado.com Online Store - We require your information like address so that we can ship your product to you. We need your email address to let you know your order is shipped, product updates, customer support and solve disputes.
b) Privy Apps - A newsletter campaign management software that we used to collect your information via our pop up newsletter sign up page. We can remove your information anytime here upon your request.
c) Mailerlite - A newsletter marketing software that we used to send you promotional updates, advertisement or coupons. Please note that you can unsubscribe at anytime if you do not want us to send you any information anymore in the future.
d) Courier - We use Fedex, DHL and Pos Laju. Your address information and phone number is require information to send you the product. At anytime you do not want your information to be kept with these companies, please let us know and we'll remove them immediately. You can also contact these courier yourself as well.
e) Skype - If you phone call us via Skype, your phone number will be stored in skype. We mainly use this apps for communication and customer support purpose only.
f) Paypal - A payment processing company that we use to payment from you. If you want to pay us via Paypal, you have to sign up through Paypal and read their terms and condition.
g) Printify - If you purchase any print of demand products like t-shirt, hoodies, mugs and so on, Printify will help us to make and ship the item on our behalf. Your information such as order detail and shipping address are needed by them for processing.
h) Yotpo - Software that manage customer review. If you purchase item from us, the software will help us request for review of the product from the email address that you provide to us during your purchase.
How long we store your information
We'll store your information as long as we need them for customer service and solve disputes. An estimate length of time of storage is 5 years. Anyway, you can request us to remove your information anytime by contacting admin@handmado.com.
How the information be handle outside of Europe.
We may store and process your information through courier services such as Fedex, DHL and Pos Malaysia in Malaysia. The courier will be shipping the item to your given address information. Fedex, DHL and Pos Malaysia are few of the most reliable courier companies.
In the nutshell, all information related with your personal information will be used for order processing, shipment, payment and customer services only. We do not share or sell your information to any non-related third party companies that do not involve.
Your right to use your information
You have your right to access to any information related to your orders and newsletters.
You can alter, restrict or remove your information from our site unless your information is require for any disputes, open case or legal reason.
You can object or stop us from processing part of your information or send you any promotional or advertising info. We'll remove your email address or phone number from our database.
If you have any issue or concern about your personal infomation, you have the right to complain and talk to us with local data protection authority.
